Charity Abraham (ADE, MIoD, ChPA) is a Senior Assistant Registrar at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) with a distinguished career in higher education administration, management, and human resource practice. She holds a Master of Commerce in Human Resource Management and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at UCC’s School of Business.
Charity has made significant contributions to institutional growth through operational improvements, policy development, and governance reforms. Beyond academia, she is deeply committed to the credit union movement. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the University of Cape Coast Co-operative Credit Union Limited (UCCCCUL) - the first woman to hold this role. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the Ghana Co-operative Credit Unions Association (CUA) and its Central Chapter Executive Committee. Internationally, she is a Fellow of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and the first Ghanaian and African woman appointed to the WOCCU Board as an Observer.
